External refurbishment and internal fit out of HSS Hire Station.
Works included the demolition and disposal of defective concrete to an area in excess of 5000m2.
Other works included drainage, asbestos removal, mechanical preparation of floor slab and specialist epoxy paint coatings.
Complete refurbishment of external shell and replacement concrete service yard. 25,000 tons of material were removed with over 3000 tons of replace concrete.
Internally, formation of new stud and blockwork walls, timber joists, plywood decks ceilings and structural steel work. New kitchen units, toilet cubicles, workstations, doors and offices all required internal finishes.
